Employees choose their out-of-pocket maximum from options presented by their employer, and get care when they need it. When employees utilize healthcare services in healthy ways, they require fewer high-cost services.

After monthly premiums are paid, these benefits are available at no additional cost and co-pays will not be required:

ICHRA – Individual Coverage Health Reimbursement Arrangement

What is it?
ICHRA is a type of health reimbursement arrangement through which employers of any size can reimburse employees for some or all of the premiums that the employees pay for individual health insurance that they purchase on their own.

ICHRA eligible expenses
Premiums of individually owned medical plans, including Medicare premiums.

How it works for Vision Source members
The member determines staff eligibility requirements and how much money the office will want to contribute to each employee’s ICHRA. Staff use their ICHRA funds to purchase an individual plan through the individual market. Gravie coordinates payments via the Vision Source member’s ICHRA contribution and staff payroll deduction (if applicable).
