What is Telemedicine?
When you’re not feeling well, or your child is sick, you probably don’t want to leave home to sit in a waiting room. A virtual visit lets you talk to a doctor using your phone or computer without needing an appointment. Most visits take about 10-15 minutes, and if needed, the doctor can send a prescription to your local pharmacy for you to pick up.
How do I talk with a doctor by phone or video?
Sign Up and Log In
Download Amwell’s app to your smartphone and create a secure account. Then log in for a webcam consultation with one of Amwell’s medical providers. Or talk to a physician over the phone!
Visit with a Provider
Speak with a board-certified Amwell medical provider who is licensed to practice medicine in your state.
Receive Treatment and Get Better
After the consultation, follow your personalized treatment plan. If your Amwell provider wrote an e-prescription, purchase and pick-up the prescription at your local pharmacy.
